Faith Lutheran Church will be celebrating their new Allen digital organ with the highly advanced GeniSys Voices digital sound libraries and the newly released APEX Tone Generation System with a wonderful and resounding organ concert. Director of Music & Organist of Faith Lutheran Church J. Matthew Swingle will be joined by acclaimed American organist, Garrett F. Martin to present the “Celebration!” Organ Concert. Come hear pieces by Langlais, Bach, Muffat, Dupré, Boëllmann, and more! Famous organ selections such as “Cortège et Litanie,” “Suite Gothique, Opus 25,” and some arrangements of classic Beatles songs will be played by the artists!

The new Allen RLX-90 organ at Faith Lutheran Church is only the second production of this specific model number, but also the only organ of its kind in this model. This Allen RLX-90 features six suites of digital sounds, as opposed to the typical one suite for this model type. The six suites of digital sound samples will include the specially designed suite by Rudy Lucente, a full-encompassing Aeolian-Skinner organ, the French Aristide Cavaillé-Coll organs, the German Arp Schnitger and Herman L. Schlicker organs, and a complete english Henry Willis organ. Boasting an impressive 101 stops and a 108 rank equivalency, this instrument is sure to impress all audiences.

The concert is on Friday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, with general seating available. Masks and social distancing are encouraged for this event.
