Special Olympics Florida – Athletes are the heart of our movement. Providing year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate and at no cost to the athlete or their families! In Collier County, these opportunities include: Tennis, Athletics, Bocce, Cycling, Soccer, Stand Up Paddle, Bowling, Swimming, Flag Football, Pickleball, Golf, Basketball, and Young Athletes (ages 2-7). 

Collier County, West Coast Region – This region serves 12,234 athletes and 2,735 Unified partners, with the assistance of 6,251 volunteer coaches and 2,555 additional volunteers. You probably already know the many benefits of sports and physical activity; however, you will find that becoming a part of Special Olympics Florida will enrich your life in ways you might not have anticipated.  And there’s a place for you! We want people who share in our spirit of acceptance, fun and determination to change the world, one life at a time.
