Faith in Action is a ministry of Faith Lutheran church that focuses on sharing the love of Jesus with the local veteran community as well as active duty military. We are proud to be known in our local community as a hub for veterans, providing friendship and support however it is needed. We also provide support to active duty military in a variety of ways including sending over 88 tons of care packages to date.

Troop Care Packages
Faith in Action seeks to lift morale and put smiles on faces by sending care packages addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed in harm’s way. Faith in Action Troop Care Packages contain treats, hygiene products, entertainment items, and personal letters of appreciation.
Since our start in January 2003, we have shipped over 76 tons international and 12 tons national. In 2022, we shipped our 10,000 Troop Care Package.
We have a packing event 4 times at year at Faith Lutheran Church.
Faith in Action Backpacks
A new ministry of Faith in Action started in 2020. Our mission is to provide unique and personalized support to our homeless and at-risk veterans currently struggling to reintegrate into civilian life. Whether it’s supplying a backpack filled with daily essentials or providing guidance with the VA and Vet Center of Naples, there is nothing we won’t strive to do for our veterans, military spouses, and family members.
Marine Corps League of Naples
E.T. Brisson Detachment #063
Since 2012, Faith Lutheran Church of Naples has been the home for the ET Brisson Detachment #063 MCL. Weekly Luncheons on Tuesdays, Business Meetings, and Community programs of the League are coordinated at Faith. Pastor Don Treglown has served as Detachment Chaplain since 2018.

Faith in Action is a sub-entity of Faith Lutheran Church in Naples, Florida. Donations are tax deductible. 100% of funding is used for filling Troop Care Packages, shipping, and phone cards.
Fun Fact: We have sent 88 tons of Troop Care Packages, 183,416 Beanie Babies, and $72,710.00 in phone cards.
The funds for the phone cards come from the sale of books at .25 a piece. So, we are always looking for book donations.
You can also help our effort by:
- Supplying us with names and addresses of deployed military personnel
- Writing letters to include in the Troop Care Packages
- Contributing items for the packages (see most wanted items)
- Helping pack the items at our quarterly gatherings
