It has been a blessing and a privilege to serve the Lord through serving our church family, friends and community this past year.  We thank all of you for your prayers and your support.  We would like to share with you some of our activities and missions—those who received our monetary donations and in-kind gifts during 2024.

    • WOF Lent Soup and Sandwich Supper – Youth Haven of Naples received the Love Offering.  This group is a social service organization which offers a safe harbor for children and teens in need.
    • WOF Advent Soup and Sandwich Supper – The Love Offering was sent to Canopy Global, a non-profit organization providing a canopy of services for women.
    • WOF Spring Tea – Providence House of Naples-provides emergency temporary housing for women and their children received a monetary donation as well as in-kind household supplies, clothes and personal care items.
    • Easter Breakfast - The Itchin’ to Stitch group was the recipient of the Love Offering.  They are included in our budget to purchase needed materials for their sewing group and for shipping.  During this past February they have made and shipped to the Orphan Grain Train, quilts and 100 dresses for little girls.   They will be making another shipment this February sending up to this point,  59 dresses, 11 quilts, 30 layette sets and 40 book bags with school supplies.
    • In July, we collected school supplies for Avalon Elementary School and delivered them in August before the start of the school year.  This was the third year we have chosen an Elementary School in our community  to supplement school supplies for students who may need the extra help.
    • LWML - This year we sent representatives to the Spring and Fall LWML Zone Rally’s with monetary Gifts from the Heart.  The September District Rally was held in Orlando. Two representatives from Faith attended and we collected requested supplies for the Orlando Union Rescue Mission.
    • Thank you for your generous donations for the Mite Box collection this year.  We have sent $2017 to the Florida Georgia District!
    • ---Our end of the year monetary gifts were sent to Concordia Food Bank, St Louis; the Pelican Community Center and Lutheran Church;  FLC General Fund.  We also purchased Devotional Books which were sent to the Troops.

None of this could happen without the generous support of our church family and your willingness to help.   We look forward to new opportunities to serve.  God’s Blessings in this coming year.
