God works in mysterious ways and so does prayer.  Let me tell you about a personal experience.  Almost 3 years ago a terrible situation happened to our family.  It changed everything.  It seemed to suck all the joy right out of our family.  

When I began to pray and talk to God about it – I was very mad!  (recently after speaking with Pastor Treglown – he said not to worry because God can take it when we are mad at Him) I prayed for a resolution, but the sequence of events was not what we were expecting or what we wanted.  So, I continued to pray and talk to God and to ask Him to take my anger away (which He did eventually) but it did not happen overnight.  At that point in our lives, I did not understand what God had in mind for us.  However, God did have a plan!  That too was not what I was expecting.

In answer to my prayer, approximately 6 months ago God sent to us not just a solution, but a real live person.  God blessed our family with a new family member that has brought us so much love and joy!  Little did we know that this is what God had in mind for all of us almost 3 years ago.  I am reminded in what the bible, the Word of God tells us, “Seek and Ye shall find, Ask and it shall be given unto you”.  I have always known that God loves us and wants what is best for us.  I just didn’t realize all I had to do is pray!  Try it!  Just talk to God, the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit… see where He can take you.  You won’t believe what He can do in our lives, until you talk with Him and trust Him!  

This is my prayer for each and every one of you!  God’s blessings and love and the closeness to Himself He brings us to.  Believe me or rather, believe God when He says He wants us to follow Him – Prayer does matter!
